Comic artist hoping to publish first book

A local comic book artist is hoping to make the jump from online to  printed form with his weekly.

Ryan Chandler has started a go fund me page for his comic Living with Stacy, a slice of life comic about the funny and strange events that happen between him and his wife. Chandler is compiling a book of the first 100 comics, and has a funding goal of $2,000 to get the book printed.

Chandler says the comic started as a fun and therapeutic way to tell the couples story.

The comic had been published weekly in the Queens County Advance when it was still in operation, and Chandler says it had a growing fan base. While the Advance has since shut its doors, Chandler has continued the comic online through its own website.

Chandler is a web and graphic designer by trade, but this is one of the many projects he has on the go, including another webcomic called Rankless.
