The dirt on or near the back of a hairdryer can cause a fire. That’s why it’s important to clean the filter on the back of your hairdryer every once in a while. This is done by cleaning the ventilation opening on the back of your hairdryer with a moist cotton swab to get to the hard-to-reach areas.
