(Rick Conrad)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hundreds turned out to the Hank Snow Museum Community Park in Liverpool on Tuesday to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Survivors of residential schools and their families shared their stories in the morning. In the afternoon, organizers held a mawio&#8217;mi, or pow wow, that highlighted Indigenous dancing, drum singing and traditional crafts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This was the fifth annual event in Liverpool to honour the victims and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.<\/p>\n<p>The National Indian Residential School Crisis Line is available 24 hours at 1-866-925-4419.
