(Photo via Scott Christian)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Scott Christian, a business and government consultant, is one of two candidates running to be the next mayor of the Region of Queens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qccrfm.com\/news\/2024\/09\/10\/interview-with-queens-mayoral-candidate-terry-doucette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terry Doucette<\/a>, a former teacher and school administrator, is the other candidate.<\/p>\n<p>The election will be held on Oct. 19.<\/p>\n<p>QCCR interviewed Christian on Aug. 30.
