The Astor Theatre\u2019s first adult musical since 2018 is set to open this Thursday, Feb. 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Astor and Winds of Change are co-producing the Stephen Sondheim musical Follies. The Tony-award-winning show features elaborate costumes and big musical and dance numbers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It features more than two dozen cast members from around Queens and Lunenburg counties, ranging in age from 14 to 77. That’s in addition to the many other people behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

Cast and crew have spent hours each week over the past three months in vocal and dance training, as well as regular rehearsals.<\/p>\n

We talked to some of the people behind the show during one of their rehearsals in late January.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets are on sale now through the <\/span>Astor Theatre<\/span><\/a> box office in person, by calling 902-354-5250 or online through Ticketpro<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
