THE WESTURN HURRICANES HIGHLIGHTS

Your Western Hurricanes defeated the Joneljim Cougars and the Nova’s on Saturday and Sunday in Cape Breton. The score in the Cougar’s game on Saturday was 5-4 in a Shootout the goals in the shootout were scored by Lawson Cook and Mason Maclean while Nolan Atwood added 4 assists. And goalie Konnor MacInnes stopped 28 shots in the win.

On Sunday the Hurricanes defeated the Nova’s 4-3 with Nolan O” Brien leading the way with 2 goals while Jeremy Charles stopped 17 shots in the win. The Hurricanes are back at it this weekend on the road to take on the All Credit Rangers in East Hants and then on Sunday in Cole Harbour to take on the Pro Hockey Life Storm.
